WOODTRICK

Woodtrick is a brand of wooden assembly kits and puzzles. It is one of the leaders in its category on Amazon. However, for a long time, it had no distinctive brand characteristics. The client needed new brand fundamentals, logo and visual system, packaging, and some guidelines for further content development.

After situation analysis, we found an interesting insight—some people love solving complex tasks that need their entire focus. The more complex, the better. They see it as a chance to have rest from routine, family life and work. We focused on this insight and came up with a brand platform of ‘Complex is Fun.‘

This is how the Engineering Joy was born. It influenced the direction of visual style, bringing engineering elements into it. Later, working on the packaging, we also included fun facts about the models or their real prototypes.
